Dr. Christopher J. Blewett is a distinguished pediatric surgeon and the J. Eugene Lewis Jr., MD Chair of Pediatric Surgery at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He also serves as the Trauma Medical Director for Cardinal Glennon, where he plays a crucial role in overseeing trauma care and improving outcomes for injured children. With an extensive background in pediatric surgical techniques and a commitment to advancing the field, he has been a pivotal figure in pediatric healthcare for over two decades.
Dr. Blewett completed his undergraduate studies at Westminster College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Theatre, magna cum laude, before obtaining his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 1990.
